\u201cBeing a laminate and postform distributor, we needed to use the cut process and rebate tables that had become available in Agility,\u201d\u00a0said Luke Teague, Web-Don\u2019s Operations Manager.\u00a0\u201cWe can\u2019t imagine finding another system with\u00a0more in-depth laminate features.\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The cut processing features of\u00a0Agility ERP were essential to Web-Don as a laminate distributor. <\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cAgility prevents useless cuts or mistakes by the warehouse, which saves us money by not wasting inventory,\u201d said Teague. \u201cWhen you cut product ahead of time using the system\u2019s cut sheets, the material is ready to pick at the appropriate time with no\u00a0waiting around.\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Another feature Teague said is essential\u00a0is the rebate reporting. \u201cWe\u2019re able to electronically process vendor rebate reports at month end and see our credits in the same month. When this was manual, we\u2019d have employees in sales\/pricing and accounts payable ready to leave!\u201d <\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

One of the most impactful changes for Web-Don is Agility’s reporting features. Throughout the company\u2019s multiple locations, the software provides fast access to inventory availability. <\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cGoing to a reman process versus our old bill of material process has definitely helped out with inventory control on our postform slabs,\u201d said Teague. \u201cWe are more comfortable with the\u00a0inventory counting options of Agility\u00a0than with the legacy system. It\u2019s\u00a0easier to count on the fly if we notice a problem.\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Advantage of Hosting<\/h3>\n

Web-Don hosts Agility, which means they only need internet to access the software. \u201cReplacing aging, massive servers every four to six years is extremely expensive, and hard to budget for,\u201d said Teague. \u201cWith the hosted environment, our tech manager has much more time to focus on other things besides updating.
